End User Licence Agreement

Version 1.1 · Effective: 2026-11-01

In short. Silver Bullet is licensed to you, not sold. A licence key is for one computer and must not be shared. Silver Bullet runs on your computer. Your data stays there, and databases are only read. Answers are worked out with the help of an AI model and can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them. They are not professional, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for your data, your database accounts, your backups and your AI model provider account. Do not copy, reverse engineer or get around the licence. The software is provided “as is”, and our liability is limited. Signed by Govirang, not by Apple or Microsoft: your computer may warn you; see clause 10A. This box is a summary. The numbered clauses below are the agreement.

1. The agreement

1.1. This End User Licence Agreement ("EULA") is an agreement between you and Govirang Microspaces Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN U58200MH2024PTC424124), with its registered office at Office No 1004, 10th floor, Chesterton, Hiranandani Estate, Patlipada, Off Ghodbunder Road, Thane 400607, Maharashtra ("Govirang", “we”, “us”).

1.2. It covers the Silver Bullet software, in every edition and version, including the trial, its updates, its documentation, its built-in content (such as region and industry packs, starter questions and dashboards) and its licence keys (together, the “Software”).

1.3. “You” means the person who accepts this EULA and, if that person accepts it for an organisation, that organisation. You accept this EULA by ticking the box and choosing Agree and continue when the Software first starts (or when it asks again after a change), or by installing or using the Software. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software. Choosing Decline means the Software cannot be used.

1.4. Our Terms of Service (about buying, payment, refunds, support and disputes) and our Privacy Notice are part of this EULA by reference. Words defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here.

1.5. You must be at least 18 years old. If you accept for an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it. Outside India, the Software is licensed only for business use (Terms of Service, clause 3.3).

2. Licence not sale

2.1. The Software is licensed, not sold. Govirang and its licensors keep all rights, title and interest in the Software, including all copies, and all intellectual property in it. Only the rights this EULA expressly gives are given to you. All other rights are reserved.

3. What you may do

3.1. Trial. For 14 days from its first start on a computer, you may install and use the Software on that computer to evaluate it.

3.2. Paid licence. For the period you have paid for, and subject to this EULA, Govirang gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable, revocable licence to install and use the Software, in object-code form only: (a) on the one computer whose computer code the licence key was issued for; (b) for your own internal business purposes (or, in India only, also your own personal purposes); and (c) in accordance with the documentation.

3.3. One computer per key. Each licence key is bound to one computer. Using the Software on another computer needs another licence key, or moving the licence (Terms of Service, clause 8.3).

3.4. Copies. You may make the copies the Software makes itself (such as its own backups), and one copy of the installation package for backup or reinstalling on the licensed computer.

3.5. Server edition. If we license a server edition to you under a separate order, the number of users and administrators in that order applies, and every user must accept this EULA.

4. What you must not do

4.1. Except as this EULA expressly allows, or as far as the law expressly allows despite this clause, you must not, and must not allow or help anyone else to: (a) copy, modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works of the Software; (b) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or try to discover the source code, algorithms, models, prompts, licence-key format or signing keys of the Software; (c) rent, lease, lend, sell, sub-license, distribute, publish, host for others, or offer the Software as a service, a time-share or a bureau service; (d) share, publish, sell, transfer or reuse a licence key, or use one licence key on more than one computer; (e) remove, alter or obscure any notice of copyright, trade mark, licence or confidentiality; (f) use the Software, or anything learned from it, to build, train or improve a competing product or service, or for competitive intelligence or publicly published benchmarking, without our written permission; (g) use the Software for anything unlawful, or to process data you have no right to process; or (h) use the Software in breach of export control or sanctions laws.

5. The licence check and anti-circumvention

5.1. The Software checks its trial and licence key on your computer, using a public key built into it. It does not need to contact us to do so.

5.2. You must not, and must not try to, get around, disable, reset or interfere with the trial, the licence check, the computer code or any other technical protection in the Software. This includes changing the computer’s clock to extend a period, editing or replacing the Software’s files or licence state, creating or using keys we did not issue, or using any tool made for those purposes. Such acts are a material breach of this EULA. They may also be offences or civil wrongs under the Copyright Act, 1957 (including sections 65A and 65B), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and similar laws in other countries.

5.3. Licence keys are confidential and non-transferable. Keep them secret. A key that has been shared, published or misused may be refused for renewal, re-sending or moving.

6. Verifying licence compliance

6.1. On our reasonable written request, at most once in any 12 months, you will within 15 days give us a written statement, signed by an authorised person, confirming that you use the Software in line with this EULA, with the information we reasonably ask for to verify it (such as the computer codes and keys in use).

6.2. If the statement or other information shows use beyond your licences, you will promptly buy the licences needed at our then current prices, without prejudice to our other rights.

7. Confidentiality of the Software

7.1. The Software’s structure, organisation, code, prompts, internal logic and licence-key format, and any non-public information about it, are our confidential information and trade secrets. You will keep them confidential, use them only to use the Software under this EULA, and protect them with at least reasonable care.

8. Your data and your responsibilities

8.1. Your data stays with you. The Software runs on your computer. Your data, your files, your database connections, your questions and your answers stay on your computer. They are not sent to Govirang. The Privacy Notice says exactly what can leave your computer and when.

8.2. You are responsible for your data. You alone are responsible for: the data you load or connect; having every right, consent and lawful basis needed to process it with the Software and to send any part of it to an AI model provider you choose; complying with the data protection, confidentiality, banking, sector and other laws and contracts that apply to that data; and the accuracy and quality of that data. As between you and us, you are the controller (or data fiduciary) of that data. Govirang does not process it on your behalf and is not your processor.

8.3. Databases and credentials. The Software reads databases through the accounts you give it and is designed to only read. You are responsible for giving it a read-only account with the least access needed, for protecting the credentials, for the permissions and security settings of your databases and computer, and for who can use the computer. We are not responsible for any change to, or load on, a database or system that results from the account or settings you chose.

8.4. Backups. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your data and of the Software’s data folder, and for protecting them. Backups contain your data and the keys that open stored passwords.

8.5. Computer and security. You are responsible for the security of your computer, its operating system, its disk encryption and its user accounts.

9. AI models and answers

9.1. AI models. The Software uses an AI model to understand questions. You choose the model: either one that runs on your own computer, or a cloud model from a provider you choose (for example Google Gemini) that you configure with your own API key. When you choose a cloud model, the question text and the descriptions of your data that it needs are sent to that provider, under your own account and agreement with that provider. You are responsible for that account, its terms, its costs and its data-handling, and for deciding whether sending that information is lawful and appropriate. The AI model provider is not our subcontractor, and we are not responsible for it.

9.2. Answers can be wrong. Answers, charts, summaries, briefs, insights, suggestions and any other output of the Software ("Output") are produced automatically, with the help of an AI model and your data. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date or misleading, even when it looks confident or is marked as verified.

9.3. Verify before you rely. You must check Output, and the data and choices behind it, before you rely on it or share it. You are solely responsible for every decision you make, and every action you take, based on Output.

9.4. No advice. Output is not professional, legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, medical or other advice, and must not be used in place of such advice.

9.5. No high-risk use. The Software is not designed for, and must not be used as the sole basis for, decisions where an error could lead to death, injury, serious damage to property or the environment, or decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

10. Third-party and open-source components

10.1. The Software contains open-source and other third-party components. Each is governed by its own licence. Those licences, and their notices, are listed in the Third-party notices (in the About window and in the installation package). Nothing in this EULA limits a right that such a licence gives you for that component, or makes that component subject to restrictions its licence does not allow.

10.2. Third-party services you use with the Software (such as databases, AI model providers, your browser’s speech recognition, or Dodo Payments) are governed by their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

10A. How the Software is signed

10A.1. Every package of the Software is signed by Govirang with its own release key. The Software is not signed or notarised by Apple and not signed by Microsoft or any certificate authority, and we do not intend to have it so signed.

10A.2. As a result, macOS (Gatekeeper) and Windows (SmartScreen) may warn that the developer cannot be verified or that the program is unrecognised, and you may need to allow it explicitly to install or run it. Instructions are in the Installation Guide.

10A.3. You can check that a package is genuine by comparing its SHA-256 checksum and release-key fingerprint with those published at silverbullet.govirang.com/security, or with SilverBullet version.

10A.4. By installing the Software you accept that it is distributed this way. If your organisation requires software signed by Apple, Microsoft or a public certificate authority, do not install or buy it. No refund is due for this reason after a licence key has been delivered.

11. Updates and changes

11.1. We may, but need not, provide updates. An update may add, change or remove features. This EULA applies to every update unless it comes with a new version of this EULA, which you will be asked to accept.

11.2. We do not have to keep the Software compatible with any operating system, database, browser or AI model.

12. Feedback

12.1. Clause 12 of the Terms of Service (feedback and submissions) applies to any feedback you give about the Software. In short: you give us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use it, it is not confidential, and we may develop similar things independently.

13. Warranty disclaimer

13.1. The Software, including the trial and all Output, is provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults. To the fullest extent the law allows, Govirang and its licensors make no warranty, condition or representation of any kind, express or implied, including about merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of Output, non-infringement, or that the Software will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted or compatible with your systems or data.

14. Limitation of liability

14.1. Clause 13 of the Terms of Service (warranties, liability and indemnity) applies to this EULA and the Software. In short, and to the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profits or business, or loss caused by decisions based on Output; our total liability is limited to what you paid for the Software in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 in India, or US$10 elsewhere, if you paid nothing); and nothing excludes rights or liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.

14.2. You will indemnify Govirang as clause 13.4 of the Terms of Service says, including for any claim arising from your data, your databases, your AI model provider or your use of Output.

15. Remedies

15.1. A breach of clauses 4, 5 or 7 would cause Govirang irreparable harm for which money damages would not be enough. Govirang may therefore seek an injunction, specific performance or other equitable relief in any court, anywhere, without having to prove actual damage and, where the law allows, without giving security, in addition to any other remedy.

15.2. To the extent the law allows, you agree that money damages are an adequate remedy for any claim you have against Govirang, and that you will not seek an injunction against the development, distribution or sale of the Software.

16. Term and termination

16.1. This EULA lasts until it is terminated. Your right to use the Software ends at the end of the trial or of the period paid for, unless you obtain a new licence key.

16.2. This EULA, and all your licences, end at once and without notice if you break clauses 4, 5 or 7, and we may terminate it by notice if you break any other clause. No refund is given on termination.

16.3. When this EULA ends, you must stop using the Software and delete it, and every copy of it, from your computers. Your data stays on your computer; take it out (for example with the Software’s backups or exports) before you delete the Software.

16.4. Clauses 2, 4, 5, 6 (for 12 months after the end), 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 to 15, 17, 18 and 19 survive termination.

17. Export control

17.1. You will comply with all export control and sanctions laws that apply to the Software (Terms of Service, clause 15).

18. Government end users

18.1. The Software and its documentation are “commercial computer software” and “commercial computer software documentation”. If the user is an agency of the United States Government, it receives only the rights given to all other end users under this EULA, as provided in FAR 12.212 and DFARS 227.7202, or their successors. The same applies, with the necessary changes, to government end users in other countries, as far as their law allows.

19. Law, disputes and general terms

19.1. Clauses 17 (notices of claims, disputes and arbitration), 18 (governing law and courts) and 19 (general) of the Terms of Service apply to this EULA as if written here: the law of India applies, and disputes are resolved by arbitration seated in Thane, Maharashtra, India.

19.2. Changes. We may change this EULA. A new version has a new version number and effective date, and the Software asks you to accept it before you can continue to use it.

19.3. Severability. If any part of this EULA is found invalid or unenforceable, it is replaced by the valid and enforceable provision that comes closest to its intention, and the rest continues in full force.

19.4. Entire agreement. This EULA, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement about the Software and replace anything said or written before. Nothing in this EULA excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
